Recently I had to do a run through the possible reason why the Role Centers are not working properly in the Home module.

Work with a range in EP
An item I use frequently in the EP development, changing the query ranges from code behind.
Getting Error: Access Denied when a user opens EP
When you have a new EP install and haven't setup yet the users for accessing the site, you might come across this: Error: Access Denied. This is very easy to fix.
Using CSS image sprites on your EP web page
If you've done EP development you may have found yourself in the need to display an image from a .gif or .png file located in the system resource library that is deployed as part of the web solution. However, you may have discovered that the image file has multiple images (different resolutions).
Retrieve the RecId value from the AxQueryString
Retrieving the RecId value from the AxQueryString of your current page is fairly simple; this value of course is allowing you to select the record that was passed as a reference to your page (either the record that was selected in a grid and you are opening it in a details page, or a childs page that you will filter based in the parent's RecId just passed).
Passing table context to a menu item context in EP
Another small and easy item I always spend several minutes to recall when doing EP development, is setting a MenuItem's MenuItemContext with the current's form TableContext (taken from the CurrentRow property).
Creating an AxTableContext from a RecId
From the category "basic but must use", another code snippet of how you would create an AxTableContext in an EP page starting from a RecId value, in order to pass it to another page. Remember, lots of ways to do this, so, pick your favorite.
UpdateOnPostBack and AutoPostBack properties on an EP page
Making a web page to perform as you have to, is possible in multiple ways, and of course, the implementation can vary heavily based on the minor requests to implement.
Save and Close buttons on EP page
In my development I am mainly using the default buttons in an EP AxForm, gave to us by the framework's properties like: AutoGenerateCancelButton, AutoGenerateInsertButton, AutoGenerateEditButton, and of course these combined with ShowButtonsInActionPane.
Still, sometime you really need to control the behavior of the form, so, the buttons in this case have to be added programmatically by you.

Not able to debug in EP web page
Of course, the debugging steps are now very clear outlined in the MSDN pages for all the possible scenarios (AIF, EP, CIL, etc) ... For EP the link would be: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc551671.aspx
Save and keep current record in AxForm on EP page
Say you have a popup EP page that you are using to create new records. You want to add a Save button, which when press will save the record but will not close the form (a keepDialogOpen behavior).
Common building blocks in EP pages
I always find myself in the position to go and gather all the basic blocks of code necessary (more or less) in a EP web page from other already written pages. Of course, for this purpose, you can try to use the AxBaseUserControl web control already shipping with the EP standard code. It is useful when you have a simple scenario of building a page with an AxForm, I am not using it that much ... So, without other comments here is the list:
Adding an ActionPane from code in EP page
I am not sure if you are a fan of adding the ActionPane control from code or directly in the EP page definition - I can see for both arguments of pro and con, but lately I am using the first approach - works faster.
URL parameter to view the content of your EP page
Just the same as with another recently posted topic, this is a frequent EP development helper / time saver and always have to go to my cheat sheet to recall this. Say you just added a user control on a page and, due to some issues with it, the page stops to render itself properly, but even worse, you just can't get on it to fix the issue.
Print SSRS report in EP page
Say you have a SSRS report in AX and you also want to have access to it from EP. The way to do this is to run the report silent and redirect it's output as PDF on the IIS side, then download it on the client's side and have the browser display it's Open/Save dialog so you can work with it.
Solving issues on EP pages
When working with EP (Enterprise Portal) in either AX 2012 or 2009 sometimes you will get errors, or to be more precise the web page will not load properly and also you won't get a clear description of what is the problem. That is because EP is not configured to display the actual error directly to the user.
Edit SharePoint page does not display the web parts
When doing Enterprise Portal development, it might happen that when you are going to say Edit on the SharePoint page, you will not see it in editing mode with all the web parts available for editing or adding new ones: the web parts "boxes" are not displayed.
Changing the password for a Claims-mode user in EP
I stumbled across this question when planning for a Claims-mode enterprise portal site: how you would go and change the password for a claims user?
URL parameters to view EP pages in Edit mode
I always stumble across this task when doing EP development, and always have to go to a cookbook or other resources to find this. So, the answer for forcing a page to display in Edit mode when you have the ribbon hidden or anything like this, since I had to recall this hours ago.
EP with Claims-mode authentication gives Certificate errors fix
Working on installing an Enterprise Portal site that is going to use Claims-mode authentication (more exactly Forms-based authentication) and been following the tutorials that are present out there in setting this. All worked like presented, except for the fact that I was getting the 'Certificate error' when going to the site or errors like: "The root of the certificate chain is not a trusted root authority.".
