Getting TCP provider error computer refused connection message

Talked in the past about troubleshooting an AX Management Reporter installation, but as I am revisiting the Management Reporter installation, get some other issues. The first one is: "A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The remote computer refused the network connection.)".

I am working with Management Reporter CU14 this time, and just completed installing the Server components, plus the AX 2012 Data Mart. After enabling the ERP integration, I am getting that error message in the Data Mart integration logs.

The fix is simple this time: just have to open the SQL Server 2014 Configuration Manager and under SQL Server Network Configuration -> Protocols for MSSQLSERVER just select Enabled for TCP/IP. This would require a restart from your SQL Server, but will fix the MR issue.
