A nice feature I realized quite recently was added to AX (I see that in R3 CU9, but can't see it in a R2 CU6) is the inquiry form that shows the users session log (tracking).
It can be used I believe for audit purposes (of course, with some extra security on it).
To get to it just go to System Administration->Inquiries -> Users -> User log. The table behind it is SysUserLog.
